We are wondering if the public star party was rescheduled to to the overcast conditions we had on the 9th of Feb?
Hi Greg,
We do not reschedule our public observing sessions anymore. We go regardless of weather as some people show up anyway and we don’t want to ignore them! that being said, Our next public observing session will be at Hanna Park on the 15th of March. We normally start at 5 as the gates close at 5:30. It may be different in March as we set the clocks forward on March 10 this year. Being there before the gates close at 5:30 would be the safest way to go. If you have a telescope or binoculars by all means bring them! If not you can look through ours. That’s why we are there!
