Online Virtual General Meeting of the Northeast Florida Astronomical Society [NEFAS].  All are welcome!

will be an actual online meeting. I will be sending out invites the day before the meeting with the established link.

This will be our annual voting meeting. You should have voted electronically by this date. All members will be receiving a ballot link by email.

Announcing two new contests!

The first contest is to give the chance of one lucky new member during the month of February 2021 to receive a new Orion 6 inch dobsonian reflector. You must become a paid member of the Northeast Florida Astronomical Society (NEFAS) during the month of February to get a chance of receiving the telescope. If you already have a telescope and win, then you may receive a new eyepiece of comparable value.

The second contest for the month of February 2021 is only for existing paid members. The contest is to recruit the largest number of newly paid members of NEFAS. The current member that does get the largest number of new paid members wins a new Daystar solar Scout SS60 telescope chosen by the runner of the contest, the director at large. The Director at Large, who will not be eligible to win the telescope, will be the final judge on who has the most newly paid members by the end of February 2021.
